Gold earrings
on men comes as
a surprise to many people. Those who minister in this area (such as this ministry) have
found from experience that this practice - as with tattooing - brings men into spiritual
bondage and that removal of the earring usually brings an immediate experience of
greater spiritual liberty. (Tattoos unfortunately are not so easily removed)
One Christian leader who wears an earring validates his decision by using the scripture
Deuteronomy 15:17 - where male and female slaves who returned to serve their master of
their own free will were ceremoniously pinned to the master's door for a moment by an awl
through their ear. This has nothing to do with earrings! The spirit of the age,
not the Holy Spirit, in recent years has enticed millions of men to start wearing
